We visited Jankovac at the end of May. We started our tour of this hidden pearl of continental Croatia with an educational trail that led us along the beautiful blue-white lakes, the source of the Jankovački stream and the waterfalls it creates on its way down to the lake. After that, there was a climb to the grave of Count Janković, after whom Jankovac was named. The next was a cave where we hoped to meet bats, but unfortunately there were none of them this time. This was followed by a walk through a thick beech forest to a large waterfall, which was in full glory after the rainy May. The walk along the path ends in front of the mountain lodge from which we started. After a little rest, we rented electric bikes and headed down the road to Velika and the adrenaline park Duboka. This time we didn't have time to do the adrenaline tour, but we will definitely do it another time. After a short rest, we return back to Jankovac. We rented bikes for 3 hours and that was more than enough for us to go to Velika and back. That ground (and stone surface) wasn't too wet in the forest, we probably would have driven more on forest roads, but even like this, it was great 🙂
