Correction the verse about Sulaiman’s response is ﴿فَلَمّا جاءَ سُلَيمانَ قالَ أَتُمِدّونَنِ بِمالٍ فَما آتانِيَ اللَّهُ خَيرٌ مِمّا آتاكُم بَل أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُم تَفرَحونَ﴾ [An-Naml: 36] So when they came to Solomon, he said, "Do you provide me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Rather, it is you who rejoice in your gift, And the dua on the night before Badr is O Allah, grant me what You promised me. O Allah, give me what You promised me. O Allah, if this band of Muslims are destroyed, You will not be worshipped on the land.' And Allah knows best

I really liked this topic because it's a reminder to those who are new to the religion, and for those of us who have to re-establish our Muslim identity in ourselves first and then the community. You have to be conscious of the fact that you aren't perfect and you will make mistakes, but you still need to keep going and turn to Allah for help to become better than you were before.

That’s what I used to think too sis. I attended two lectures where they asked non relevant questions and the conversation got wayyyyyy off topic both times in those other lectures. So I think Dr. shaikha handled it beautifully as the question asked was general and irrelevant to the topic at hand.
