Though I started out liking my Janome 2000D it began having issues, the last of which has it up for sale for parts. But watch the video first to see if you want to get into this.

I usually sew thick fabric. Many people say that janome 2000d is better for thick fabric.

I have the Janome 1200d, I love the serger but I broke the lower looper by using marine/outdoor thread and not changing the needle to a bigger size. Snapped the tip of the lower looper off. Do you know where I can get a replacement?

Yes that is what these companies do people should do what you have done and not buy them, They will learn one day that it is the little people that keep there bread and butter on the table so why try and rip us off.

Howdy from Northern Utah. I enjoy your videos, I have a question off topic. I have a eflite Valiant 1.3. I think I want to spray it with a type of clear coat and give it a shine. Think that's a bad idea? What would I use? I don't have an air brush. Thanks Bret

I've never had any luck trying to make a plane shinny. Usually stuff like peeling, sometimes more than the clear coat follows. I'm more in favor of waxing it and settle for that shine. Keep in mind that I have been wrong once or twice....

@@flyingrcdotnet Thanks for the feedback. I see what you are saying about peeling and pulling color. I like that idea of using a wax. I think I'll give that a try. I hope you have a banner day 🛩️

So how about do you think better janome 2000d VS juki mo-1000 ? I'm plan to buy better one. Cuz My budget is restricted, so i can't buy juki mo-2000qvp.

I've not had ther Juki 1000 so can't speak to it. I did go to the juki MO-6814S industrial machine and it works perfectly with my ever thicker fabric stacks used to make our wing bags. I know it is more money but I figure I haqve saved a ton by not going through other cheaper machines trying to find one capable of this kind of work. I chaserd lots of money thorugh home-type sewing machines on the way to the Sailrite Fabricator that actually handles the jobs easily. It can cost lots of money trying to save a buck.

@@flyingrcdotnetso you think that home t-type machine (like janome2000d, juki mo2000qvp somting like that ) is pretty useless while comparing a industrial overlocker. Right?
@godsfamilyname11 ай бұрын
Actually, janome 2000d and juki mo 2000qvp, these home-type machine are more expensive than mo- 6814s.

The wife has the Juki 200qvp and it is a greaty machine but I woujld nmot use it for the work we do in my shop. The 6814 with the table etc costs about the same if not a bit more than the 2000qvp but though it has fewer more home use related features it is built like a tank and has a huge motor making it better suited for heavy work

correct. The industrial Juki has been totally trouble free other than when I jerk the material crooked and break a needle. I use mine daily, often serging two 150' edges per bag and it is rare to even see a dropped stitch. The juki just keeps chugging along doing its work without complaint.
