In all seriousness, I’ve played a few Arma scenarios with a Warhound in play, and it’s given me legit chills seeing one of those things in action. And that’s just a milsim. The reality of a Titan on the battlefield would basically be a primal horror of a level I don’t even want to think about.

Note: The Vraksian abandonement of the eastern Defensive line officially isn't in the books, but it was quite a blatant open end that left things to be desired. So I took some creative freedoms and decided to introduce it into the story at a moment where it made sense. It will blend well with the coming episodes too.

Kargori was truly the rarest of all beasts in 40k - a competent officer who cares about the lives of his men. And the Imperium saddled him with the exact sort of regiment that would resent the latter quality the most. Good job, Administratum. Good job.

I would argue they didn't. The Korp doesn't care about losses like other units do, but they want their lives spent well. By putting a Commander who cares in charge, that gets bumped into a higher priority

Kargori is a mad lad. He managed to coordinate a combined arms assault between the death korp, adeptus titanicus, and imperial aeronautica forces each one with their own separate command chains and it worked. This is especially impressive when you consider the fickle nature of titan legions.

I think one of the reasons he managed it, was because Imperial co-operation, despite all it's problems, was considerably better than Chaos co-operation.

It's relatively manageable to coordinate the militarum tanks and infantry with the navy aircraft, but getting the titans in line takes a lot of skill and a moderate amount of luck. Fortunately that luck was there, the combined attack would give the titan legio exactly what they wanted so convincing them to join was a relatively manageable effort as well.

I have feeling Vraks could be such a good idea for FPS game, being on side of the Chaos or Imperial troops. We have all needed here, infantry, tanks, planes etc. Just perfect scenario for online shooter in Warhammer 40k universe.

If you consider how large individual krieg regiments are and how many chaos space marines were on Vraks in total, there were only like 250-500 death guard holding back close to a million krieg infantry and probably around a 100k tanks are infantry fighting vehicles and APCs in the east.Shows how insanely powerful well organized chaos marine war bands can be.

Well, orfanized maybe not so much. Space marines are small walking agile tanks that can turn toward their enemy in an instant.. your standard infantry cannot pierce these war machines that are filled with a cocktail of combat stims 24/7 so youd rather want to wait for something heavy of your own to counter that big mass of death

Death Guards are not really well organised tho, they are just too tough that any small or medium weapons couldn't do any damage to them, even heavy weapon are like shooting .45 to tier 2 bullet-proof vest.

The emperor has not spoken in millennia but this more than anything said to the Death Korps that the Emperor protects them too and they are never forgotten.

Absolutely incredible episode. "Titan shock" is something i always wondered about. Given shell shock from artillery is pretty devastating, I walways thought the the troops arpund totams on both sides must come back scarred inaide and put after being witness to such firepower. Brilliant work and I cannot wait for the next episode. Thank you!
