There’s a huge difference in quality and durability. These market shopkeepers anyway quote an unreasonable price knowing people will bargain. In Sarojini too there are fixed price shops (₹100, 200, 250 etc) and then there are shops where there is room for bargains. She DID NOT do anything out of place.

All I am saying is that the bigger companies that you stated are already wealthy, and when you buy stuff from them, they become a little bit more rich. But people from Janpath or small street vendors are their for their livelyhood. That is the difference. And to your question - no, I always used to do street shopping. I made these mistakes, too, but not anymore. I am really sad about the person in the video because she is a person that people look up to, and she is glorifying bargaining.
