You have depicted the beauty of the female finch! Her expression is so comfortable out in nature surrounded by flowers and leaves and looks like she might be perched on a branch under blue skies. I studied printmaking and can draw a bit- but had not learned painting at all; needless to stay I learned a lot from this video! This year, I hope to learn to paint with thick acrylics like you. You make it seem so easy and fun!

Hi David, I enjoy watching you paint birds. I have a question. I"ve purchased several tubes of Master's Touch fine art studio) from Hobby Lobby years before finding your videos, and would like to use them. My question is What is the Quality of this brand?

Hi Barbara, It is a craft paint. Works for crafts but is not artist quality. Put it this way, with paint you get what you pay for. Winsor Newton Ultramarine Blue is $22 for almost 7oz. Heritage which I use is $21 for 8oz. Master touch is $12 for 8oz. This means they cut out a lot of things including pigment to make the paint cheaper to make. There is no way it is any kind of quality at that price. It will work for crafts but not any art techniques.
