Michael Dorn is superb, such a beautiful voice. The expert who asks why hospitals aren't haunted is wrong. I have worked in a number of hospitals as a critical care nurse and,as a student, took a tour of an abandoned hospital building. Walking through an empty ICU where I worked gave me a weird skin crawly feeling as did the empty hospital building. My last employment had no such feeling in the procedure rooms or recovery unit. But really any public place can give you the "willies". Theatres, transit stations, Churches etc. can make you want to hurry away.

There HAVE been NEAR DEATH experiences, BUT they were “near” death (brain waves still active). It take literally HOURS to truly die once the heart stops, the brain slowly fades it’s the last to go on account of survival and self preservation - the body shuts completely down and tries to preserve SOMETHING anything and that’s the brain. There has NEVER been anyone to come back after true brain death sorry. There is no “NDEs” accounted for AFTER brain death. When we are gone that’s it. Once that final flicker of the flame goes out so do you. There is no consciousness after that, as hard as it IS to perceive an end.. there is one. One day this universe will die and disappear as do you. The argument is - once the universe disappears, then what what does it disappear into there has to be infinite space for the universe to die in. There is but it’s a dead space. Once you truly die you won’t even know it. There will be nothing , you will not be there afterwards to be sad that you don’t continue so it really doesn’t matter. But I DO know that we don’t know barely a fraction of a percent what is on the other side or how the universe works so really who knows what happens

Colin Dickey, in his book Ghostland, debunks the Winchester House ghost stories. The whole book is about how and why culture, society, and commerce create stories of the supernatural, many of which are rooted in real history that is much more frightening than the ghost story. My personal experience with the supernatural is a high railroad bridge near Louisville where a goat demon pushes teenagers off to their deaths. The two old timers I was talking with said that it would help if the teenagers didn't go up there drunk in the first place.

That book sounds really interesting. I've been fascinated since childhood with anything paranormal and cryptids. Never had an 'experience' what so ever, so evidently I'm not a believer. I have tried many things over the years to have an encounter of any kind that would change my mind, but nothing ever happened... I'm still waiting for definitive proof about any of these to prove me wrong... It's nice to see that I'm not the only sceptic who is interested by these phenomena and to read a comment that actually makes sense. Greetings from Belgium 👋🏼🇧🇪

Six years ago I brought a bungalow in England it's over a hundred and twenty years old. The first thing I noticed was nightmares of murder and of being buried under concrete slabs. The next thing was my bed which is heavy being lifted at the corner and dropped . Next I thought the bed room and lounge was full of flys as little things zipped around at night. But I thought it out and wondered its totally dark why would flys be visible. My dog was dieing and before taking him to the vet my daughter filmed him on her phone . He had up to twenty something small orbs whizzing around him. After he died the orbs and sounds got busier with room doors opening shutting doors with dinner plates exploding and my nightmares. I've heard a voice of a woman talking as if shes with a friend. I've seen two friends of mine who have died tragically but when I saw them next their was a glowing effect from ones tee shirt and the other reminded me of him thirty years ago as he was a spitting double of Freddy Mercury but only their top half then down to their knees . The day my wife came home after being at the hospital with my daughter and they birth of her first. My wife stood telling me about her cutting the umbilical cord while my dead father appeared in his old comfortable gardening gear he was chuckling and placed his hand on my wifes shoulder . The orbs continue with the door to the kitchen opening and since buying we had an upstairs built the female voice has been heard up there too. Oh the dog that was died he has jumped on my bed most nights hes rubbed against peoples legs. How do we know its him, well he was a breed called a English wire fox terrier his fur is very wiry and he looked like tin tins snowy !

I only hear most of the ghosts we live with but i have seen a young man in his twenties with dark dress pants a long sleeved shirt and a vest over that and a dark jacket. I was in the kitchen in the morning making lunches for my kids and passednthe door way of the kitchen leading to the livingroom. I saw someone and carefully leaded back to look in the livingroom. When I saw him he stood up from sitting on the couch and smiled at me in a polite way as if visiting someone. And then slowly dissapeared. I have also seen a black cat or dog, depending on if you ask my son or daughter.

Over the years I learned the following. Fouls smells that comes and go is usually because a demon is there, not a ghost. A ghost would appear most likely because it needs prayers. But the moment they manifest in trying to hurt a person or property then that’s an infestation which means you need a priest (do not ask a regular person because they need to be prepared spiritually and clean from sin otherwise they will get hurt or the people around). And if you live in the house then everyone who lives in the house must pray together as this shows the evil spirits that they don’t belong there. Pray to St Michael the archangel, do the Rosary or any prayer that you know. You must be constant until you don’t see any manifestations (might take days or weeks). I hope this helps to identify between the two activities.

Even Cape Town has its souls which cannot rest.

More people have died in these days with technology and come back to have a story about it, have met God, or went to hell and were given a second chance to change their Wicked Ways, and repent ! This world is a lot more spiritual Than Physical then people can ever imagine, and it says in the Bible over and over again do not talk to the Dead or be a medium
@evarene073 жыл бұрын
You need to read deeper ...Please conduct a séance for me, and bring up for me the one I shall name to you.” (1 Samuel 28:8 NKJV). Saul then asked the medium to conjure up the spirit of the deceased prophet Samuel, to ask his counsel regarding the pending Philistine attack. "And the king said to her, 'Do not be afraid. What did you see?' And the woman said to Saul, 'I saw a spirit ascending out of the earth.' So he said to her, 'What is his form?' And she said, 'An old man is coming up, and he is covered with a mantle.' And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground and bowed down.'" (1 Samuel 28:13-14. NKJV). And yet our church has denied for decades the evidence of evil that has been done to thousands of children...I’m to believe that God that can reveal to only a priest, our Pope? I’m sorry, I do not. There are some who are blessed with a knowledge as it were; and don’t use sorcery, magic, quija boards to summon evil spirits. As much as honor my faith, I also study other religions and consider myself quite spiritual and open to hearing God answer ME.

The reason liars tell you not to listen to Spirits is because they would be told on. They purposefully left out reincarnation in order to keep calling people sinners and in constant need of salvation. Its bs. God made us Eternal Souls. We are here to learn. We chose our lives. No one is being punished and no needs to be saved. Its all lies to control the masses. Sorry but its better to know the truth than continue to be brainwashed.

@@lorimiller4301 , we're all sinners and yes, we need to be saved through Christ Jesus. You sound like the mass-murderer Carl Marx.
@katpoohtoo3 жыл бұрын
Also, the Bible warns us against contacting the dead for our own safety. We don't know who we're really talking to and not be able to handle what we've contacted, and demons lie and possess. Warning us against contacting the dead is not about "keeping us from fun or truth". God knows how vulnerable we are, and we have the habit of overestimating our own strength and underestimating the spirit world.

Loretta Lynn has a haunted plantation house, it has confederate soldiers who walk the home, but they seem to not mind Loretta's presence, in fact they have shown approval of photographs she put around the home, the stair case especially as a reporter was there, I think they moved one of the photos, the soldiers let them know they wanted them left alone.

If you don’t think a hospital can be haunted, you’ve never worked in one.
@valsptsd8143 жыл бұрын
We had a section of hall down in the basement no one went to after business hours. It had been the morgue and after a renovation it became the laundry. But it was so heavy at night, the entire department decided to save the company money on payroll by not staffing it at night. Administration was happy, and the laundry staff was happy. Every now and then, I’d have to go down there. And I just wouldn’t break stride, in collect on the fly and OUT! I’d always hear something and never so much as turn my neck to look. It felt like the weight of the entire building was pressing on me, like what I imagine decompression feels like.

In an old hospital I worked at (since closed and moved to a new building), a patient had leaped from a window back in the late 60’s - she was in for surgery, hubby decided it was the perfect time to tell her he was divorcing her. Huge screaming match, capped with her yelling she hoped he died out the window as he drove off - and was Tboned leaving the parking lot, pretty much killing him instantly. Keep in mind, this was when hospital windows opened. She was distraught, she apparently really loved the guy. That night, she threw herself out of the window. From that day on, any male patient put in that room complained of a female patient being in his room at night. They’d wake up, find a woman in a gown staring at them, call for the nurse, and look back to see - nobody. They finally made it into a storeroom, but no male employee would go in there alone after the first time. They felt like someone was standing right behind them.

But there have been people who have died and been brought back that speak about their experience. Science always dismisses them as a result of the brain deprived of blood or oxygen.

It is the early 1900's. My grandmother, a full blood Choctaw woman lived around Mc Gee, Mississippi. She has the reputation of being able to communicate with spirits. Decades later she tells me the stories of families that she "helped". Usually, her method consisted of praying near any activity , asking that the person might find peace...until the families reported no further activity .
