My father was travelling to city from our native place by bus in 1993 ,and on the way, he listened to " ek ladki ko dekha to aisa laga "song in bus. When he returned back to home ,he had BPL tape recorder with two speakers in hand and cassette of " 1942 A love story" .(He had no plan of buying music system and was also not a big music fan )That was the magic of Pancham da's music .

1942 A love story पंचम दा की आखिर फ़िल्म थी जिसमे उन्होंने संगीत दिया। इस फ़िल्म से पहले 4--5 वर्षो में से पंचम दा ने जिन फिल्मो में संगीत दिया था , बदकिस्मती से न तो फ़िल्म हिट हुई न संगीत ही दर्शकों के मन भाया। कई प्रोड्यूसर डायरेक्टर ने कहना शुरू कर दिया पंचम खत्म हो गया अब उसके पास कुछ नही बचा , कुछ प्रोड्यूसर डायरेक्टर ने तो बहाने बना के पंचम को फ़िल्म संगीत का दिया काम भी वापस ले लिया था। उन्ही दिनों डायरेक्टर विधु विनोद चोपड़ा जो कि पंचम दा के बहुत बड़े फैन भी है, 1942... मूवी बना रहे थे, पंचम दा को फ़िल्म संगीत की जिम्मेदारी दी। लगातार 10---12 सिटिंग के बाद भी विधु को पंचम दा की बनाई धुन पसन्द नही आ रही थी, एक दिन विधु ने पंचम दा से कहा, दादा आपको क्या हो गया है??? संगीत में आप वाली बात नही आ रही। तब पंचम विधु को एक अलग कमरे में ले गए और थोड़ा झिझकते हुए पूछा मैं इस फ़िल्म में संगीत दे रहा हूँ न??? या तुम भी बहाने बना के.... तब विधु ने कहा, दादा इस फ़िल्म में संगीत आप ही दोगे वरना इस फ़िल्म में मैं गीत संगीत रखूंगा ही नही। उसके बाद पंचम का आत्मविश्वास जागा और दादा ने बेहतरीन संगीत बना के आलोचकों का मुंह बंद कर दिया। अफसोस दादा फ़िल्म के रिलीज होने से पहले ही स्वर्गवासी हो गए। 👉 लेकिन आखिर बॉल पर छक्का मार के गए दादा।।

​@@ManishGupta-sv5md जी हाँ आपने सही लिखा है. लेकीन एक बात मन में हमेशा चूभती हैं. वह यह है की 1942 अ लव्ह स्टोरी इस फिल्म में अमित कुमारजी कि आवाज क्यूँ नहीं ली? क्यूँ की अनिल कपूर जी के लिए अमित कुमार सर ने फिल्म तेजाब के लिए जो गाने गाये थे वह सुपरहिट साॅंगस रहे हैं. इन दो कलाकार का काॅमबीनेशन बहुत ही बढीया बन सकता था. हालाकी फिल्म तेजाब के संगीतकार लक्ष्मीकांत प्यारेलाल जी थे, लेकीन पंचम दा ने तो अमित कुमार सर को सब से पहले ब्रेक दिया था फिल्म बालिका वधू के लिए. खैर पंचम दा मेरे सबसे ज्यादा पसंदीदा संगीतकार है. ऐसे प्रतिभाशाली संगीतकार आगे नहीं होंगे. उन्हे विनम्र आदरांजली

@@user-du6hz8qy7t हर गायक की अपनी क्वालिटी होती है, कितने ही गीत ऐसे रहे है जिनको किसी गायक से संगीतकर को सन्तुष्टि नही मिली कारण चाहे कुछ भी रहा हो, तो दूसरे गायक से गवाया गया। जैसे.. फ़िल्म हाथी मेरे साथी में एक गीत "" नफरत की दुनिया को छोड़कर प्यार की दुनिया मे "" को छोड़कर सभी गीत किशोर दा से गवाए थे, लेकिन लक्ष्मी प्यारे को उपरोक्त गीत में किशोर दा से सन्तुष्टि नही मिली तो यह गीत स्व. मो. रफी से गवाया था। (इसमे मो. रफी बेशक अपवाद है) औऱ यह भी कारण रहा कि उन दिनों कुमार सानू की मार्केट जबरदस्त उछाल पर थी , 100 में से 90 गीत कुमार सानू दा के रिकॉर्ड होते थे। अमित कुमार बेशक अच्छे गायक है मुझे भी बहुत पसंद है किंतु आप सोचिए "" कुछ न कहो कुछ भी न कहो "" जितना सुमधुर सानू दा की आवाज के अंदाज में लगता है, शायद अमित जी की आवाज अंदाज में नही लगता।।

Any singer couldn't sing original melody what Panchamda created & sing. Asha v. Lataji, kishore, madrafi, manna dey they also could sing 50%, 60%, 70% of the real song of panchamda. He couldn't be satisfied, so he vilify them to make it 100%, it's true. You can prove yourselves if you listen to the songs that panchomda sang.
