Why only rafi, manna ne bhi kayi geet Kishor ji ke liye gaayaa! Ati uttam dvayam Kishor daa & dev. After Kishor ji stopped singing for dev, the songs were never the same till he began again. I could never listen to the songs for more then a few lines cos of the voice & singing, like dil kaa bhanvar khoyaa khoyaa caand..... Kintu some rafi songs in the 60's with sdb & rdb are his better ones, parantu i don't like & listen to them, not my cap of caay. With just 2 songs, khvaab ho tum (released first)& gaataa rahe meraa dil(sang first)! acambhaa huvaa. The missing was back again. Purush svaabhaavik, filtered dhvani & undated gaayan. Out rafi & in again Kishor daa (veeru se takkar!).

Dev Anand back stabbed Mohd Rafi . I really can’t understand what was the need for Dev Anand to beg Kishore Kumar to sing for him again Mohd Rafi was singing really well for Dev Anand and the songs were iconic and is remembered till date If Mohd Rafi was singing badly for Dev Anand I can understand the desperation of Dev Anand to beg Kishore Kumar re resume singing back for him Dev Anand was a real back stabber

Kihsorda was great singer. But stop making up stories. In 50's and 60s it was simply music directors preference to go with Rafisab. Excluding 1957 Paying Guest, even SD Burman had most of the Dev Anand songs sung by Rafisab. Even in Teen Deviyan, SD Burman had two songs sang by Rafisab. IN Guide Burmanda used Kishorda only for the duet simply because Rafisab and Lata were not singing togather.
