January 10, 1966-Password (Lucille Ball-Gary Morton) (Lost Daytime Week)

-This is the first in what will be five uploads of the entire week of daytime Password for January 10-14, 1966 with Lucille Ball and Gary Morton. These come from kinescopes as the original videotapes were erased. Although Password debuted on CBS daytime in October 1961, no tapes prior to September 1966 (when it began airing in color) were saved. This week of kinescopes are the only pre-color daytime shows known to be circulating (though a handful of others probably do exist as kinescopes in the Goodson archives).
-The first match between Lucy and Gary are played with regular contestants but then Lucy's children Luci Arnaz and Desi Arnaz, Jr. come on for the next match (which is completed on the next program which will be uploaded when we reach 250 views).

Adam Nedeff said that a "huge amount" of the CBS Daytime run exists. Curious which episodes, and it'd likely include the color ones in their original length. UCLA has a Daytime episode from September 1965 at CBS Television City with the Smothers Brothers playing.

That would be great if most of it did exist, though I would have to assume they would kinescope versions. In addition to this week I will be uploading in the future a Lucy-Gary daytime week that aired after the "Ten Stars" week in September 66 but was not part of the syndication package (my versions are B/W kinescopes).

I truly believe a ton of them exist - somewhere. I believe WABC vaults can talk concerning the 1971-75 episodes, too!
