Gi this perfect, really fabulous and I think as I see you make the different journals my favourite is the eclectic style. Stunning ,beautiful not only the journal but the way you decorated it, it’s transformed. Even your handmade embellishments are a work of art. I don’t have the variety of trim, lace and material you have so doing one of these would be hard. Besides I don’t confidence to just put this here or there. You do inspire me . I use glue stick with Art Glitter Blue especially along edges. I also use fabric tac or glue gun on bows ect.

The journal is beautiful! I’m inspired. Already started gathering the packaging and some digitals I need to use. I like to use glue sticks and a tacky glue. Love adding sewing to my journals.

58:19 At this spot I realized what my next “pages for signatures” project could be. I’ll gather some papers with one side blank (which I collect for recycling into writing spaces for journals), fold them so that the sides with writing are inside and glue strips of fabric over the edge to shut pages. Each double-papered page in that journal will have colorful edges this way and I will quickly deplete my stash (which is my goal). Thanks for the inspiration!

I use a combination of glues. Craft glue stick, glue gun, fabric glue, school glue, mod podge, collage medium. Usually just whatever is in reach and seems like it will work.

I always enjoy your beautiful journal making videos… they are so well decorated! I purchased your 2024 calendar digitals and I’m hoping to incorporate some of the stands as tags and tuck spots and use the individual calendar pages for each signature… I have used brown Kraft paper grocery bags to create my pages. I can cut four 9” x 12” sheets from each bag plus a 4” x 38” strip for extras… So at 15 cents per bag when I shop, it is a great bargain! ❤❤❤

Glue: I never use gluesticks because overtime it is loosing the stickiness. I buy a kind of tackyglue in a local store, same for fabric glue. For covers etc I use PVA. And working a long with you I have to postpone because of lives issues has taking over. Still enjoying and one day…..

I watch a lady who uses a spatula to push down the hot glued area - she uses it to scrunch the material while pushing it down and it works really well. Love your journal!

Hello. I have just subscribed to your channel and have really enjoyed the 3 videos on making this journal. I've never made one before but have been collecting stuff to make one... I even successfully managed to tea dye some copy paper. I have a question.... apart from copy paper, I don't have any other paper I can use for signature's. Can you suggest anything please? I really don't want to use the tea dyed paper to glue decorative papers onto. Thanks xx
