These price increases are beyond annoying! I’m not sure if I will keep my Boxy/Ipsy. I already canceled the Glambag because it just wasn’t worth it for me anymore. I am pretty sure I already have that mini pallet they are showing for the Glambag. The only thing I am really excited about is the Benefit mascara and the pallet. The only box that hasn’t raised their prices in years is Eyescream Beauty. I hope they keep it at the current rate since it’s my favorite box. Have a great time on your vacation. ❤️❤️❤️

I canceled glam bag too because it wasnt worth it to me. It was $10.. no taxes or fees and it was $17 when I canceled. They ruined all the boxes. I literally used to get 3 of each. 3 Boxy, 3 Luxe, 3 Ipsy Plus, 3 Ipsy Ultimate, 3 Ipsy X when it changed. When they bought Boxy obvi that dropped me down to 2. They raised prices. I dropped glam bag *I only ever got 1 glam bag. I used to buy all the mystery bags, they are terrible now. I used to order from the sales, do add ons. I never shop the sales. I rarely add one item on. Ipsy pisses me off.

Yea Eyescream is great and you know you’re getting all makeup. I hear everyone say to get glam bag and keep it for getting to shop the Ipsy shop and add ons. But I would definitely be more into boxy I think.

@@SherSharesBeauty I have seen many beauty sub box videos by now and in my humble opinion Boxy is really the best deal. It has been the only box that gives you ALL full size products while in most other boxes you are only promised 2-3 max. The price is a lot better than other boxes I've seen and so far I have had no issues. The price increase is only $2 so that is nothing..like you said it;s inflation...I'd rather have a $2 increase than $5+ but that's just my opinion. I have also been very satisfied with the choices they offer me...I specifically requested only skin care in my profile and that's what they give me save for a lipstick or brow gel/pen every so often. My advice to you is to try Boxy it's good products and best price out there for what you get. Happy holidays ;-)

Hmmm definitely not that exciting of spoilers… I think I agree with you, the most exciting things are the glow recipe and the Laura Mercier, oh and the wander beauty palette!! I actually would be happy to get that palette since I do enjoy their formulas and I love a neutral color story 😍

We still get to choose 3 items in Boxy but we used to have 6 items in each category to choose from & now it’s 4 or 5. So glad my annual renewal processes in December so I have a year to decide if I want to pay more for a box that lately isn’t that exciting.

Boxycharm is increasing to $32 in January, but if you sign up for an annual sub, you can lock in the $30 rate. Yeesh, the Icon box is increasing to $65 in January as well.

Yea I wish I could see it better to tell how “neutral” it is. With it being Ipsy exclusive I can’t find it either. I hope it’s true to their usual formula though with beautiful shimmers and shifting shades at least:)

I feel like they have changed a little. The last few boxes the choice products have been better than the power picks. That works for me because in boxy we get 3 choices and 2 power picks. As an example before say amika would be a power pick or natasha denona. Now they're in the choice items. So my choices are actually the stuff i really want. Not just trying to pick the best out of a bunch of lame choices. I hope that makes sense. My power picks for December were an eye primer and concealer. So not terrible or great. But my choices were natasha denona, amika, and anastasia

I am looking at my boxy charm now, it just shipped. I had 2 products chosen for me, I chose 3 products, I chose Pat Mcgrath Labs Quad in Eternal Eden as my beauty boost and I got 2 add one lol❤

Thanks for the info Sher. I'm sure you have little need for more products, but the drop shop is pretty incredible. I got my first order yesterday and it was great - full size Murad toner, Kate Summerville cleanser, Tula Vitamin C, first Aid Beauty niacinamide glow drops, Ofra setting powder, blush brush 2-pack, a kit of travel size Rosie Jane (body wash, skin milk, skin oil and deodorant), and a sample size of Dr. Barabara Sturm glow drops (all for $60 with taxes and all). For me, I'd rather get the Glam bag and choose full sizes I really want from the drop shop rather than get Boxycharm and get full sizes I don't choose or have limited choices to pick from. I got this order and the Dermstore Get Ready With Me kit in lieu of an Advent calendar this year and I'm glad I did because I think I'm going to really use everything I got to upgrade my routine for 2025.

Hi! The Glam Bag gets only one pick, and they give four others. If you comment on what you get, they send you better things the next time. During choice, we get to buy anything they offer from Glam AND Boxy. Things from Glam start at $3.50. Things from Boxy start at sometimes $6 but mostly $12. They also give surprises like Elemis full size for really reduced prices.

I have the Elf Lash n Roll and it to me is not as good as Roller Lash. Not their best dupe. That being said I’m cancelling my iboxycharm and glambag. Atleast for a while. I just haven’t been excited by anything lately from them. Definitely keeping my Eyescream beauty subs though!

There are complaints I hear but at the same time Ipsy is wildly popular. Probably the best known box for beauty lovers and newbs out there. I don’t think they’re going under any time soon but if they keep hiking their prices, that’s where I think they’ll lose people.

The Laura Mercier setting spray is awful. The nozzle doesn't spray correctly and just ends up shooting a stream of product onto your face. The actual setting spray itself is okay I guess, nothing to write home about. I end up just trying to spray some on a beauty blender and applying it to my face that way.

I think they should come up with something new . For instance Boxycharm should consider letting us choose all 5 products. That way we get an option for everything we pay for. That way everyone should be happy with their boxes. Same with Icon . Just an idea lol

Absolutely agree! There are other boxes that are 100% customizable like Fab Fit Fun. They should offer the same.
