My dad loved to trap beaver rats, mink and racoon. I remember one winter he caught 100 beaver. Unfortunately the fur prices arnt the best any more. A lot of work to catch them and then skinning, fleshing and stretching is so time consuming. He always joked he only made around $1 an hour if you factored in all the time. He also sold the casters and oil sacks and at times the tails. And the good cuts of meat were saved and used for feeding our dogs. I did some trapping myself. It is a very good skill to know especially if times ever get bad. I still have my snares and conibears saved in my garage! Watching your video brought back some pleasant memories of trapping with my dad when i was a kid!

I appreciate you checking out my channel. Your dad was a busy man 100 beaver 🦫 that’s impressive! It is a lot of work however I enjoy getting out in the woods, fresh air is good. These days there are not many trappers trapping for $$$ I don’t believe. Thanks again for watching be safe.

Seems like a lot of traps for one place. I would look it over good, set the prime locations, and use the rest of the traps in other places to up your odds.

Also use castor mound sets will draw the beaver to your sets to also increase your odds with less traps. I'm not cutting you down, just some suggestions for you.

the hole in the beaver house is done by a ottor, there is mink tracks by the house

Thank you for your feedback. I see mink tracks in a few different places however no otter yet. I know otter love to check out beaver lodges. This is a beautiful area I’m trapping and I have other locations to set up. Thank you for watching.👍😁

Використовуй туалети, восени я помітив що бобри ходять в туалет в одне місце як і ондатра,за тиждень я впіймав трьох дорослих самців по 30кг кожен на одному туалеті. Удачі тобі.
