Thanks for the upload. Some misc. background. Prior to this game, Erving Johnson had made some comments about how successful he was defending against Hakeem (Johnson was a center for the Sonics that swept the Rockets the year before). And Dream responded. The guy you hearing screaming left and right in the video is Johnson getting frustrated.

If I recall correctly, Hakeem Olajuwon was 24 of 40 (60%) from the field this game. In today's watered down league, I'm sure he would have had double digit free throws. Mark Jackson led the league in assists that season.

People who criticize the Barkley trade should realize that Barkley missed 30 games, and Drexler missed 20 games. And Brent Price missed the entire season (he was supposed to be the PG instead of Maloney). And they still won 57 games. It looks like they were both missing in this game.

GOAT center...? Perhaps. I believe he is. He could do it all despite the double and triple teams. His reaction time and awareness were superb. Too bad the Rockets wore these uniforms though. The previous version were there best.

ervin johnson and sam perkins guarded dream well because the refs allowed gp and nate mcmillan to sit in hakeem's lap and not have an illegal defense called against. we saw how gimmick based their defense was when they were flattened by the bulls that year in the finals.
