I agree, it’s a fascinating new way to travel through the Bible.

Isn’t it reassuring to know that, despite our hardheadedness, God is STILL SO LOVING & LONGSUFFERING towards us! This is the Second time that Abraham potentially “whored” his wife out to a King - for self preservation! 😮 God is amazing! He didn’t chastise Abraham, He challenges the King!!! When we mess up (even when we bring it on ourselves), God STILL gives us a second chance! STILL! Thank You, God! Thank You, Jesus! 🙌🏾

i do not understand how u have intercourse/sex with a man that is so drunk he doesn’t know he is having sex/intercourse - this story has always puzzled me & a bit unbelievable

I hear you! Although I think it IS possible, because of the way bodies respond to stimulus…

so basically that would be sexual assault without his consent & incest - so the laws didn’t apply to them back then - just an odd story that happened more than once - i am surprised they even inserted it into the Bible - something just not right about that whole story to me - again has always sounded strange to me to even be in the Bible

@@flygirljc They thought after the Cities were destroyed that the father was the only man left. If you read further, you will see the names of the sons they had who ended up being enemies of the Hebrews. Abraham was the Father of God's people. Not Lot... Hope that helps!
