Your descriptions are always so good. I love the description of Snif smelling like a perfume. At first I laughed and then I realized that it’s conveying such a specific scent combo. I also always think about your description of Milani Luminoso being like kids’ makeup and that’s SO ACCURATE.

My favorite this month was The Ordinary Soothing & Barrier Support Serum! I have literally been using it every night and it has made my skin so glowy and locks in hydration. Honestly no flops for me in January!

Hi - someone from the industry here. Regarding deluxe sizes vs full sizes - it is inefficient and cost defective if a brand produces two separate SKUs of the same formula in two different manufacturing facilities. My guess is the trial sizes are older formulas, a less fresh lot, so it’s discoloring. They might have reformulated, hence the absence of shimmer, but only scaled up for full size. But it is NOT true that it is ‘well known’ to have a full size produced at a different place than a deluxe size. That requires two manufacturers to purchase all the same raw materials and tooling and filling capabilities. As a brand you would pay twice the fees verses just adding an additional SKU to the manufacturer already scaling up original formula. Since the deluxe was in a holiday set I do believe they just wanted to go thru their leftover goop & inventory however way they could.

Your lip combo inspired me to try out the Etude House water tint (wanted to try a cheapie first) + the Milani fruit fetish lip oil in Coco Cacao on top. So pretty! Might go ahead and splurge on the Benetint.. or save my $$ for the Chocolate Dripped Mascara 😊

Rudi, thank you for your "flap my jaw" video. There were SO MANY things that you said that I could relate to. The Hero sunscreen looks very interesting. I am always looking for a mineral sunscreen that plays nicely under makeup. The green version sounds bizarrely interesting. I think your brows look great with the Rare Beauty. That ABH brow product looks icky. The RB Mist sounds so soothing. Would the "Good Light Lip Milk" be good for a nightime lip mask, with something occlusive over it? I was wondering if the ingredients were worth using at night. I don't blame you for being pissed at Nars. Those Nars minis shouldn't be allowed. The minis should be the same formula as the full size. I appreciate hearing about "fails", not because I love it when brands fail, but because I want an honest review. Not every brand can have a 100% success rate. Sorry for this long, "stream of consciousness" comment, but there were so many things that made sense to me in your video. 😊

I was in Haiti and the roads were really bumpy to the point where I got really car sick to the point where even when I came back to the US I got car sick. What helped me a lot was the life savers candy not the gummies. I guess if your sucking on something it'll help. Anyways hope that helps 😊

Have you tried glossier boy brow? I have thick corse brow hairs also and although i don’t laminate them or move them in any crazy direction I find it does a great job at like ~calming them lol

I actually have had great success with the Ouai hair gloss. When I use it my hair is so soft and smooth after blow drying. It must really depend on hair type/porosity.

its crazy what nars is doing with those minis. if anything they should make them be better quality so people become interested in buying the full size later on

Do you trim your brows at all? Mine look very similar to yours and I'm always tempted to trim the lil guys in the front but like they're SO thick that you can see where each hair is cut off lol

BTW I'm definitely going to try the Rare Beauty gel when I run out of my current NYX glue - the result has been ok but the stopper doesn't remove enough of the product off the wand so I hate using it
