Tarot unveiled & Joe's book both look interesting, Joe has a unique brain when it comes to his love of thoth. I'm feeling pleased that none of the decks shown are of interest or tempting me 😇

Ooo, I know Rockpool Publishing has an essential oil deck and some books on essential oils, I believe. But this seems fun if you want to merge it with tarot 😍

Just suddenly remembered! It's the Somina Tarot. I'm intrigue by it but I don't think I would want to use it because of the cloth-covered heads. It just creeps me out too much lol

Luckily for my bank I don’t want any of those decks 🤣🤣🤣 I think the Gothic Witches Oracle looks ok it’s definitely the vibe for one half of my personality and would pair decent with Ian Daniel’s deck and Horses in Bedsheets but I honestly don’t think I’d use the oracle if I bought it. However I do want the Tarot Mysticism book because I like the author and the Tarot Unveiled book because it sounds interesting. Also oracle card decks totally need keywords and ones that make sense.

🤣🤣 The Gothic oracle scared me a bit 🫣 But if you like it, fantastic! I knew someone would! If you get any of those books, you'll have to tell me how they are 😊

@ I like the oracle but some of the keywords make me think I won’t use it so I won’t buy it right now. If it went on sale sometime I’d consider 😅🤣🤣🤣 And of course I most certainly will let you know how the books are if I get round to buying them which I mean we know I have book issues so they’ll probably be on my pile by spring 🤣🤣🤣

I emailed Galison about the Banned Books Tarot and asked when we would see pictures of some cards and they told me that some cards will be revealed on Amazon when the deck is released on January 14. I also asked them if "a complete 76 card tarot deck" was a typo since a complete tarot deck contains 78 cards and they replied that the deck has 76 cards. So we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe they "banned" two of the cards. Yes, in some places, Harry Potter books were challenged because of the magic and witchcraft. The people who challenge books usually haven't read them so, often, a very popular book gets challenged when other books on the same subject aren't because they attract attention and the Harry Potter books certainly attracted attention. When the second book was released, the B&N near me set off fireworks!

That's true 🤣 LOL banned 2 cards. That's hilarious. Yeah, I guess we'll have to see who actually buys a copy and posts a flip-through for us to all see if it's worth it. Oof, they should put pictures before the release date like what...

Practical tarot was a kickstarter first… then picked up by a publisher. I have the kickstarter edition which I just received this past December. Different box with subtle silver edges.

Nothing for me, I've become so picky with decks these days. Unless something is so different and new, and not a re-colour of the same decks I'm out.
