Great recs❗️ They all sound so good especially Before The Coffee Gets Cold, interesting twist with that one. Also, love that Coming Home is available on Audible, that makes perfect sense! Being able to actually hear the marching band and possibly stepping on the yard, could immediately transport you into that atmosphere.

Skin of the Sea and Soul of the Deep are two of my favorite books. I need Natasha Bowen to write something else ASAP. I love black mermaid stories. I read The Deep by Rivers Solomon and enjoyed it too. I plan on reading A Song Below Water by Bethany Morrow after I finish reading Foe.

Girl, same! I actually follow Natasha Bowen on IG and she announced that she's in the process of writing a new book! Idk what it's about, but it's coming! And thank you for reminding me of The Deep because I've seen a few other Booktubers talk about it and I've been meaning to pick it up.
