To handle cutting, it is easier to use back-hand flick instead of fore-hand drive because firstly , waste too much energy, secondly, high tendency to drive outside especially in short range. Tian Wei did not notice that the Chinese girl could not use back-hand top-spin to counter attack !

Liu Fei still needs to do lots of works to improve her skills to attain the level of her teammate Wu Yang, the best female defensive player in the world at present, in particular in those areas of the fh topspin, fh smash and this one, which she lacks of, bh smash. Feng Tianwei only beat Wu Yang once, that was at their very first encounter in 2009, after that it's Wu who's in command.
