lots of super inspiring stuff in here. limiting yourself like this is often the best way to get ideas flowing when stuck, I find. the amount that can be done with one sound is insane

Reversing the audio clip of an arpeggiator with long reverb is such a simple trick yet so effective - if you don’t mind I shall be using this on every track of mine from now on! 😄

Next-level stuff, man. Even if the sounds are transformed you can still hear the lava behind it all. Makes it superorganic and deep. Love it. Can't believe how you made that kick from a volcano sample btw... sounds better than most of mine made with dedicated kick plugins, haha.

how do you send the higher register bass notes to return track and not the other ones? just manual automation?

Both the filter delay and the reverb have the filter set pretty high. That way, the closed notes don't get through as much. They are still there, just not that audible.

And there i'm looking for good sample packs every day. Clearly you don't need any! Btw, you do realize that your bass had no sidechain input, right? Still sounds great though :)

Hehe, you can do a lot with only one sample :P It's way harder though, I admit to that. I know about the sidechain not being on. But don't worry, It's only in the video :)
