Mind you I had lived in Texas for 3 years. Things are very cheap and there are no good jobs there compared to California even minimum wages now in Bay Area is around 20 - $25 hr. Stop assuming people are lying.

I am a rich guy and I can buy anything that I want. If you’re the type that is doing 12 - $15 hr job obviously you can’t afford to spend good money on yourself.

California, Atlanta and may be New York is expensive but they still have improvisations like Aldi's, a dollar store other cheap stores you can switch to when you are not financially ok till you are good. 3k monthly in California and Atlanta is not expensive depending on your family size and what you are buying.

Abegi this girl saying she buys african food for $650/week is a big fat liar.. she's just trying to hype herself... No body buys African food for that amount, Moreover the average nigerian in US won't spend that amount.. she's not a kid and know about bulk food, she talks to enlighten people who also buy African food ... There's no way your 3 kids will eat the same quantity of food an adult eats....Na wah for you o. Young lady you just came here to hype yourself... You saying $650/week. You spending $2600/month.., so how much is your husband's salary and yourself and your husband still has to pay house rent and also buy kids clothes... abegi😂 .

@@okerikiri8562 Y’all just talking as if you were in my shoes. Do you all live and work in California Bay Area where things are very expensive. Even our one time shopping at Costco usually cost us about 300 - 400 that will last less than 2 week plus buying our African groceries. Goat meat of 200$ is consumed less than a week. If you are poor I get it. And most of you all have SNAP that pays for your groceries monthly so you won’t feel that inflation is real. There is inflation in the land and besides African foods are expensive here. Get it to your fucking scull.

If you're not living here, you can not understand what she's saying. An african household of 5 will certainly spend more than $650 a month for food. Are you kidding me? I spend more beyond that on food. Do you know how much kids eat here? Do you think it's a conventional 3 square meals for the kids. The kids eat round the clock here. You can't deprive them. African food price in the US is not comparable to UKs. African Food is expensive in US, period.
