I’m 13 in the year 2023 (fri/17/Mar) and HONESTLY I LOVE THIS BAND I found them 2 days ago watching a short about one of the guys getting street interviewed about his job and I love the music soo much it is soo beautiful and makes your body move on its own!!! Can’t believe how crazy the 70s and 80s music was..wish I was born at that time but overall this band was really underrated in its 80s era.. 😖💕💗✨

Classix Nouveaux were a great act and deserve more respect from the music world. They were both innovative and energetic, but just didn't have the adequate support from their publisher/distributer. It's possible that egos would break up the band anyway, but they should have been encouraged to go on for a few more albums, and properly marketed too.

Jammer..... Er is ook nog de In-Vogue-versie (4:13). Die vind ik nog wat indrukwekkender.

@@isuckatthesegames7119 He's almost 64, so that does make him a grandpa now :D And even though people consider his 80s work to be his best, imo his later works are also noteworthy, despite him steering towards a different, always evolving style more and more. I'd say the Dead Bees album is on the same level as Beehive or Gone to earth, and he put out some awesome stuff collaborating with Robert Fripp in the 90s. I do wish he wasn't so dismissive of his Japan days though.

@@dm.ackermann8499 Wow, how do you know? Where/how would a (teenage?) boy learn such advanced (?) hairdressing skills? We're talking bleaching/colouring.. as well as the (iconic) cut itself.(I'd be too paranoid of f**king things up w a DIY job - especially since the look of the band was so important.)

@@Andybaby Because they had the confidence to do their own hair and make up and probably little money to pay at the time . The Amateur look was probably part of the image by accident Tin Drum is more refined

Before he awitched to the more commercial Brian Ferry voice, they look like New York Dolls here, only with the excitement and flare missing.
