Everyone praises Ishikawa and Nishida but I can't read any praise for Yanagida. I think he has the most outstanding performance in this game from offense and defense. He really contributed a lot for this game.He proved that he deserves to be the captain of the Japan Team. I love the whole Japan Team

@@arnellaguashiman7654 what kind of respond is that. what we are talking about here is who dominates this game, I just want to give recognition to Yanagida because he really is the one who showed the most in this good game. I am not invalidating the ability of Ishikawa and Nishida, I know they are good. but hopefully as a volleyball fan, we will learn to appreciate other players as well, not just the ones you focus on leading scorers

Ishikawa and Nishida are always big hitters, but they wouldn’t be able to score even half the points they do without the other players and their strong defense. There are very few spikes without receives, and Japan have got such good receive game. Very well rounded. They really define what volleyball is; a team sport.

Well, all players of Japan are amazing. Ishikawa and Nishida are just being popular. The others are really performing but honestly their names are not easy to remember except for the most popular ones. As I said Japan has the best team, that's why Pinoy players ate engaging themselves in Japan like Jaja Santiaho, 6'5", Bryan Bagunas, 6'4", Marck Espejo, 6'3", Dindin Santiago..6'2", etc...

Well as a volleyball player for 10 years and still counting I'd like to say my opinion abt that. My answer is not really. In big championships like vwc or vnl and you have to take the ball then it's not that disrespectful, especially if you ask sorry when the point it's over. So yep

After playing volleyball in Australia in my youth across many development Australian volleyball programmes (state rep, academy, AIS, Aus junior development), I cant get over how Japan are in a completely different class here. Ishikawa boom! Nishida boom! What has happened to Australian volleyball? As a kid I aspired to represent my own country, however didnt make the cut for various reasons. Any kid in Australia should watch this and aspire to do better than this team. So many unforced errors, spiking into the net, foot faults ect the list goes for Australia. Sorry Australia that wasnt a good performance. The Japan should substitute Nakagaichi back into the team as im sure he would do better than many of the Australian players

The 5:40 challenge decision seems wrong - when the ball touched Williams' blocking hand, it briefly changed direction (for like one frame), but in the next moment it is again traveling in the original direction, which means Ishikawa must have touched it again. Or am I missing something?
