That's a really cool setup in the top left! Not only does it have all kinds of visual features to demonstrate shaking, I'm also really impressed how well that monitor stood up!

今回の地震の最大計測震度はいくつだったんですか?
@eew_eew2 жыл бұрын
6.4
@wolfquake33472 жыл бұрын
6強
@wolfquake33472 жыл бұрын
@@eew_eew 6.4 is the magnitude of the foreshock, not the seismic intensity (shindo scale). the magnitude measures the released energy while the shindo scale measures shaking at one point.
@eew_eew2 жыл бұрын
@@wolfquake3347 No, not really, this commenter is asking about the maximum measured seismic intensity, not the maximum intensity. So I answered that the "measured seismic intensity" observed by the JMA with their seismographs was 6.4. By the way, according to the USGS, the magnitude of the foreshock was 6.1. Right?
@eew_eew2 жыл бұрын
@@wolfquake3347 Your response would be correct if you were asked about the maximum seismic intensity, but in this case you are asking about the maximum measured seismic intensity, so your response is not exactly correct.

Well, it is synced. If you look at the clock in KuriharaCam and JQuake, you'll see that it is synced.
