wish it was as popular in her home country The Netherlands. Nijntje her original name which is short for Konijn(tje) means Rabbit in Dutch. we all grew up with Nijntje over here and children still do. would have been nice to have all those kind of stores in the Netherlands as well. its nice to see that it is still so famous in Japan. most we have to remember him buy is a Museum of Nijntje in Utrecht and we got stores named after the creator of nijntje Dick Bruna the stores are named Bruna after his last name. but they sell everything and little stuff about Nijntje. anyway nice haul every time i see her i get some nostalgic feelings.

omg i absolutely love love love everything. So cute. I adore miffy, my melody & hello kitty. I'm a big lover of japanese stuff & especially bunnies. so this haul was awesome. Did you know, here in the u.k, we have an online store that sells miffy jewellery? (they do ship worldwide too) I just got the yellow enamel miffy necklace yesterday & a few weeks ago i got the miffy year of the rabbit disc pendant & I've just ordered the miffy figural pendant where she's wearing a flowery dress & also I got the miffy leaping bunny bracelet & I can't wait for those to arrive. the company does several different characters, they sell officially licensed stuff, hence the name. They also have pusheen stuff (although their license is up, so they won't be doing any more pusheen stuff, and once what they have on their website is gone, that's it) they also have moomins & wallace & gromit. the hungry caterpiller, labyrinth (bowies movie) & also artist Frida Khalo. They're definitely worth checking out if you love character jewellery.

I live in the Netherlands the og place where miffy/Nijntje came from but im so sad that we don't have as much merch as in Japan but I think in Japan people from all ages like miffy but here its like more for kids super cute haul tho I hope I can visit Japan once myself🩷

@@IIshining_starzII Yess ik weet het ik ga er echt vaak naar toe maar zovaak dat ik alles wat ik leuk vind bij de Hema ongeveer ook wel al zo'n beetje heb gekocht / Het is alleen jammer dat we hier in NL niet net zo veel hebben als in Japan terwijl nijntje van hier weet je wel en het is ook jammer dat in de hema de meeste dingen beige/alleen wit zijn maar alsnog bedankt voor het vertellen🩷

I wear a mask on the plane too because that's the easiest way to get sick and all my family always gets sick after they go on plane rides. You're literally forced to breath recycled air that everyone else is breathing as well (and they might have picked up a virus while they were traveling). So why not have cute sanrio masks for when you do travel or when you are sick but need to go to the store maybe?
