Sakurajima is beautiful from the sea, but seeing it from the sky is even more spectacular. It was raining and foggy when you visited Sakurajima, so it was a little disappointing that it was sunny on the day you left Kagoshima ? From your video, it seems like Kagoshima has very convenient transportation. Thanks for nice sharing my friend. Looking forward to nex Okinawa video !

Yeah it was a bit disappointing, especially when it was sunny 4 days before and after our trip to Sakurajima 😀 I guess that is a sign to visit Kagoshima again in the future. Transportation is easy, you can get to Kagoshima with a shinkansen and there are a lot of buses and trams including Jr trains. We could also fly to Okinawa from Kagoshima airport, but it was much cheaper from Fukuoka and since we had JR pass we just went there instead.

@@JumisVisuals Kagoshima is closer to Okinawa than Fukuoka in terms of distance, but it is cheaper to fly from Fukuoka ? Peach Air is cheap, but there are few airports where I can use it. In my case, Shin-Osaka is very close, so the Shinkansen might be the best way to go to Kagoshima 😄

@@JuliTravel To fly from Kagoshima to Okinawa it was around 22000 yen, but from Fukuoka it was 5.500 . I always use sites like "skyscanner" or "kiwi" to find the best flights.
