Beautiful cathedrals that change their expressions depending on the season welcome visitors to the sanctuary of the god of water.
Surrounded by the ancient Sotowayama, a mountain stream pours into the Murou River from the mountain range with the Seishin peak as the main peak, and since ancient times it has been worshiped as a sacred place for prayer rain that the god of water gives. Murouji Temple, which is built there, is colored by the four seasons and has always fascinated people.

室生寺、とても素敵なお寺です。女人のためのお寺だったというところにも惹かれました。夜間、階段のところに龍が現れるライトアップがなんとも幻想的だったこと、奥までの階段がたいへんでしたが、行って良かったと思えるお寺でした。
