Hey, if you want less to no game lag during big fights, open task manager with ctrl shift escape while running the game, right click the aoe3 exe application under applications, press go to details, then right click it and click configure affinity and uncheck all processors except for processor 1 and processor 2. Then press OK. Then as optional to improve game performance, right click aoe3 in the services tab again and click configure priority and click realtime. The reason it gives less lag when using only 2 processors is because the game was originally made for using only 2 processors. You should try it and see if it works for you improving game lag during big battles. It worked for me! You have to do this everytime you start the game up again if you want to keep these settings. And great videos as always.

hey dude, u got back into aoe3 2 weeks ago. i currently have a really cool strategy with japan. you turtle first and defend with cav and archers and in age 4 or 5 you turn all you gold into export. the buy the samurai from the export building. they cost about 300 gold and i got them to 1500 hp with al the upgrades. if you can destroy enough cannons you samurai cannot die

i will try and record it when i play with my friend again. it works best when in 2v2 or 3v3, if dutch use the team hp card in age 2 and send all their extra gold before you trade yours for export

Nice Game, but why aren't you playing the traditional japanese build? in my opinion nothing beats the consulate before aging and the order: kami, 600 wood, 2 times 4 settlers, 600 gold, 2 berries, age 3. You have like 20 ashis, 7 of the crossbows from consulate and 31 villagers at minute 8. you can semi ff at minute 12 behind that and just spam ashis from 2 barracks and then get the juicy age 3 cards like 2 flamming arrows or eco with 7 villes / 1k wood. ah and another thing: food is the fastest ressource to gather. so you should never have your shrines on food (only age 1 to age up faster). age 2 immediately on gold and in transition to age 3 maybe wood, if you have enough army.

Watching some of you're Japan stuff. Recently started playing again. I have one question; How come you don't group your units with the ctrl numbers. It also works with buildings. I usually make my scouts ctrl 1 and 2, my barracks 3, Daimyo 4. It's a great way of not having to look for them. You can also double tap and it takes you to their location. It's a really handy feature that I never see you use. Enjoying the channel by the way...

You should try dojos, They build army automatically like a factory building special artillery. So you will always have units in your base.

I was wondering if you could showcase a Sioux Gameplay video, as i have been looking into them as another nation i might pick up, and you also only have the one other (i think). If purple's army had attacked your army instead of your barracks you probably would have lost. In fact, throughout the game, purple seems to ignore the fact that your units exist and just attacks your buildings.
