19:49 when everyone gets excited about the fireworks is the purest thing. Thanks for these videos. I struggle with depression (honestly so do most people anymore) and things like this help more then I can say. Seeing reminders of the small good things in daily life. Food stands, people laughing and gathering, excitement over fireworks, listening to the sound of footsteps and seeing the lights come on in the houses....somehow it all helps to reconnect me to the world instead of just roaming around in my own head. The feeling I got when walking there alone was really enjoyable. People are very nice. As soon as you speak to them a bit in Japanese they open up to foreigners. It doesn't matter if I suck at it. The fact that I tried made my experience so much better. The feeling of respecting their own environment and the place they live in is really felt when you walk the streets. The roads and sidewalks and generally clean and they build around nature (trees, rivers etc) In the midst of all the chaos, you can walk 2 minutes into little streets and find a random shrine close by and totally escape the noise pollution. The girl at 21:54 is a very funny girl. She shouts “Tamayaaaa” after cheers. "Tamaya" is a popular fireworks artist Tamaya Ichibei who became independent from the "Kagiya", a prestigious firework craftsman in the Edo period of 1808. Eventually, "Tamaya" will be in charge of the fireworks upstream of the river, and "Kagiya" will be in charge of the downstream. The shouts to support this were “Tamaya” and “Kagiya”.The call has continued for nearly 200 years, and even now. when you see the fireworks, you can call “Tamaya” But this girl is also screaming “Tsutayaaa” after “Tamayaaa”. Tsutaya is a famous bookstore and rental video store in Japan.

This video explains why Japan looks so cool and interesting. In my country, no one wants to go walk that far just to see fireworks.

I prefer your vids over J-vlogs coz watching them makes me feel jealous af... But when I watch your vids it feels like I am myself experiencing that moment..... Thank you so much for making this whole covid crisis a lot more bearable....This is definitely my favorite video so far 💜!

I'm impressed by how soothing and enjoyable this video is. It's always a remedy for my tired soul to watch fireworks lighting up the evening sky. (btw 14:17 is my fav part)

Actually what I like most about this is seeing so many people in what I would call traditional dress. Also fun to see the fireworks and reflections of course but cool to see the culture in action. Thanks -Henry

Thanks for making this vedio. I really want to see the kamakura fireworks. It's really amazing I loved it. I have seen this festival in so many anime. Finally I saw it in reality. The sound cheers of children's and other people are really good. It feels like I was walking on those roads

14:00 awesome how the guy from the train network even watches the firework with a big smile, this is so calming. Also, im from germany, and im 200% sure someone would be angry that the gates closed for the train although it was just stopping :D
