Dmitri Hvorostovsky put his heart into everything he sang: his megawatt smile, the sincerity and the joy and love for his craft which flowed out of every note set him apart from all others. He was the consummate performer and possessed a charisma and artistry few possess. His vocal technique, the lyricism, incredible phrasing and dramatic interpretations are unparalleled and the sheer beauty of his voice that thrilled his audiences will never be forgotten. I listen to music when I am stressed and tired. Before I know it I have a big smile on my face. Especially Dmitri Hvorostovsky makes me happy. what a man, what a voice......a prince with a wonderfull mane off silver hair and a body to die for. Will there ever be a Dimo again. My heart bleeds for his dear mother that colapsed onto his coffin, only child it is to terrible to comprehend. The father looks as if he had aged with a few years staying strong at the funeral......his beautifull wife and lovely children has lost a father that can not be replaced. RIP sweetheart Dimitri.
