Have you ever played Robinson's Requiem on the 3do? I'm slugging through it myself right now. It's quite unique and incredibly ambitious for it's time. I specifically mention the 3do version, as it seems it had been mapped to A controller, but was initially coded to use A mouse and keyboard. You even hold a button down to then utilize the cursor. It's quite interesting though, as it is A genuine survival game. Little tip, you can't climb mountains but you can swim.

For anyone interested in Radirgy/Radio Allergy, it isn't actually Japan only! Sure, the Gamecube version is but Radirgy was later bundled in Ultimate Shooting Collection for the Wii (alongside Karous and Chaos Field). This version of Radirgy on the collection came out in North America, I don't know about other regions. But with softmodding or emulation, it's possible to play Radirgy in English.

I guess Radio Allergy is included here on technical grounds, but it DID make it to North America in English, on the Wii, as part of a compilation disc with two other Milestone shooters, Karous and Chaos Field (which is also available standalone on GC)

My defining memory of the game cube was seeing it in my cousins house. He would do all sorts of tricks in melee that would blow my mind and then refuse to explain how he did them. Looking back, his mind blowing tricks were literally just pressing the taunt button and using the menus while I wasn't looking to activate special modes. I was a sucker !

While seeing the Bobobo game and Battle DON just made me vaguely nostalgic, I gotta say that I intensely wish that Nintendo would give us a translated version of Giftpia in today's age, when slow-paced games that don't have to convince the shooter-bro audience of the 00's that our console is MEGA-MATURE are allowed to just be who they are and have the company overlords be satisfied with the sales. I'm not sure if that fabled last Switch-focused Direct can provide that surprise.... but I guess I've hoped for crazier things.

You're kinda right about the Love-de-Legacy's games being little more than just Moon: Remix RPG re-dos: everyone lost their shit at Onion Games' upcoming "Stray Children" for being the closest to a direct Moon successor from a visual standpoint and I was like "uhm... didn't they do that already with Endonesia?" (of course, foolish of me to think most people have played any of the other obscure Japan-only re-dos to an obscure Japan-only game that got a late worldwide release)

My first exposure to import games was being at a family friends house for a party and this dude brought the later Naruto Clash of Ninjas which had characters from later seasons before they would show up in english. He had one of those Gamecube boot discs that allowed a US GC to play imports.

there are ways in which i am and ways in which im not and also days in which i am and days in which im not. i realize or question or doubt stuff about my self all the time. the only thing id say im truly confident in is my own creativity lol. but in terms of my physical appearance or gender stuff or socially i eb and flow all the time. i guess, if i have any sorta confidence in those types of areas, its the notion that i knowtion that everyone struggles with that in their own ways, and that its normal, and even healthy, to self doubt or have insecurities. cuz i mean how else would one ever change or improve? so to that end it maybe messes with me less then it does for other folks, just cuzza that broader perspective im always conscious of, and that might make me come across as more confident. but that doesnt make me not feel the things i feel still.
