As a Springboks supporter, I was wrecked and shocked to the core by what happened in Brighton, but truth be told, that game made me fell in love with the running Japanese style of play and the 2019 RWC was testament to the amazing work Eddie Jones did with the team and the systems instilled at the JPRU structures (taking nothing away from Jamie Joseph). Upward and onward Japanese rugby!

Great video! I've been living in Japan for 16 and the rugby team was the first link I've had with the nation and sport. Won me over to rugby and gave me a more hopeful outlook on what my kids may experience seeing a team of ethnic Japanese, mixed race Japanese (like my kids) and immigrants working together to shock the old guard. がんばれ日本!

One thing I love about Japan is DISCIPLINE. And they have this unique way of treating one another with respect that I really can't find in any other place. That's why they are so dangerous in the grounds, especially during one of their set plays. They truly deserved to be one of the best❤

The rise of the blossoms is truly one of the greatest rugby stories ever told…………..built it up from virtually nothing to what it is today is testament to the Japanese and their love for rugby - may they continue to shock the rugby world……..the day they beat the All Blacks is most likely the most significant scalp of all to them - if the Pumas and the Irish can get a dub beating the ABS then so can Japan - no international team will ever sleep on them again - the Phoenix has risen 💯❤️ love from All Black diehard………respect 🏉🇯🇵

@@EuropaSkyline Unfortunately the six nations won't do it for some reason. Italy is pretty much stuck between a rock and a very hard place, unless they somehow end up like France who had plenty of years to get to where they are now when they joined the "home nations." But the ANC should show how Georgia has grown despite a disappointing outing against Scotland in a warm-up. No surprise if Italy finishes at the bottom of the pool.

Thank you for supportive comment for Japan Rugby. I understand what you say, but the ending seems to quite fit to sense of many Japanese because we are quite sentimentalists, I admit. Saying that, let us review Japan's games from early years in this movie. Even in complete defeats, those players were always playing or fighting at their best. Maybe that's the Brave Blossoms are about. By the way, do you know Honda motor company has a Rugby team in The Top League Japan? Soichiro Honda, the company founder, left a saying like "behind one success there are ninety-nine failures." I agree with you, nothing is over, after loosing a game, too.

@@noriyukitakano2366 That's why the right world for the Brave Blossoms, as for Honda, as for whole Japan is EPIC ! No matter starting an outsider, work even harder and harder, with constant discipline and intelligence, never give up... then win ! An example for us all. Love from France.
