I own the 19 stradic 3k and 5k. The description on the site is correct. It's basically a heavier and more rigid version of the vanford with higher start up inertia.

More durable, less flex don't care about start up inertia or the Ounce and a half.

Yes I have the Twin Power 4000 PG and 4000XG and both are amazing 👏 really nice my favorite is the PG ( Power Gear ) good choice and top reel design and colors are nice too not heavy and you fell evrithing you worck good the lures jerk baits jigs spinners ...etc like tank for all types off baits... the next I will buy the stella 22 maby have think about it

Ohhh yes I just bought the Zillion. But the Silver Wolf with the shallow spool cast very smooth and is one of the best looking reel i have.

Yes. The Ultrgra has the exact same machined gears as several of their higher end models..

Great content. Had the 21 Antares DC when it first came out. Sold it after one season. I have no issues with weighty reels, but the 225g combined with the bulky design was a real discomfort. I have big hands, but that thing is something different. If going for it, be careful with rod/reel seat selection. Besides that it developed a grindy geary feeling, drove me nuts. Switched to 19 Antares, in my opinion a superior reel and better looking (bright mirror metallic).

If you wish grab one of each, the jdm version and the larger cap spool U.S. version. Be careful with the JDM version easier to spool the line off then the U.S version but $200. Cheaper from some JDM sites

@David Rauschenbach , Thanks for remind me of the US and JDM version. Maybe I would avoid the JDM version because its main gear is made of aluminum instead of brass.

Glad to see some of my reels I use on the regular are on here. I’ve actually got two Zillions because of hot light and smooth they are. They cast like a dream. This year will be the first time I use a Metanium so I’m excited to see what all the hype is all about. Surprised to see that the Bantam isn’t on here (also a new reel I’ll be using this year on the water). Anyways, great video.

I’m not surprised that the zillion placed as high as it did…I don’t think I’ve heard a single bad thing about those newer zillions. Btw, a “best of” reel list that doesn’t contain an aldebaran? I’m calling shenanigans on that one. I’ve had three (at least two) aldebarans on deck at all times for several years now and they MIGHT be the greatest short range baitcaster ever designed.

Ive been covering this for the last 3 years and the Aldebaran has never been on the list. I guess they have different tastes in Japan but as a non BFS finesse baitcaster, it cant be touched.

I have all three Stella, Exist LT , and the vanquish, I think it would be Exist LT, then the Stella, and the vanquish, but the vanquish, and the Stella, are the same thing that’s my opinion one graphite I want some metal that’s only difference plus as soon the new vanquish is out I am getting that one too now the Luvias airity LT it’s a nice reel too but I getting that one too when it comes out but if you get any one of theses reels you not going to be sad because they are the best damn reels on the market

The complex xr , soare xr and vanford are all the same with minor differences, complex has carbon drag, soare has felt drag, vanford is budget priced

The complex xr is the Vanford with a bearing in the spool and one more somewhere else. It looks way better. Ivan the guy who tests all the great 2000 size and under reels. He's from Russia or the Eastern block

@@davidrauschenbach6871 I stayed away from the Complex xr because I fish said he had to do a drag fix. Stock the drag is jerky.

@@philipfalco7304 the F4 or 2000 size use a different drag system that Ifish did not like because it is meant to release on the surge of the fish. I have the F6 or 2500 size and it has felt washers so a nice and smooth drag

Ive been fishing the Zillion this winter throwing moving baits and while its a great Daiwa reel, there are so many Shimanos that are better and even cost less.
