すき焼きの名店はいくつもある(具材とか割り下とかもある)けど、ここはバター焼きやアミ焼きもあるので予算とかあるなら行ってみてほしい。 ここに1回目来たら何を頼むか?と言われるとやっぱりすき焼きが一番かなと思う。砂糖と醤油だけで後は野菜の水分と肉の油だけのシンプルなすき焼きを味わうならここだと思う。

This sukiyaki is Kansai-style, using white sugar. Sukiyaki is a dish in which the beef is of course delicious, but I personally think it is a dish in which the mellow juices from the beef are mixed with vegetables and transformed into an amazingly delicious dish.

It’s hard to say that any sukiyaki in Japan is the best. I’ve had so many. All I can say is that, when I’m eating sukiyaki there, it’s the best I can imagine.

One time in Yokohama, my aunt a beautiful Japanese lady (my sister godfather‘s wife) took us to a restaurant for something like Sukiyaki, a lady all dressed up and served us all the way. The only thing I could remember was the price (120,000¥ per person ).

결국은 비싼 맛난 음식들은 머라도 손이 더 가면서 하면 맛이 더 나오니깐 그런것같음. 더더 앞에 나온 하이엔드 스키야끼도 숮불에 굽는것도 맛은 있는데 손이 겁나가고 잘 타고 손이 전문가급으로 해야하니 비싸겠지 맛도 더 있고 😊

What is the snow-like powder they use in sukiyaki and, sometimes, teppanyaki? Not so easy to google. Is this some sort of salt or MSG, or another thing?

大阪ですき焼の名店といえば御堂筋/道頓堀の「はり重」が一番有名やけど、 あそこは大阪では少数派の割下すき焼やからなあ。 割下使わん大阪式すき焼なら北新地の「まつした」か東心斎橋の「北むら」かなあ。
