JAPAN'S FLESH-EATING DISEASE OUTBREAK.ARE WE NEXT ?

A record number of cases of a potentially fatal “flesh-eating disease” were reported in Japan in 2023. Confirmed cases surged to 941 last year,and this year 378 cases have already been reported in the first two months of the year 2024.
STSS is mainly caused by a bacterium called streptococcus pyogenes, better known as group A streptococcus, which is known to bring on strep throat mainly among children.
In some cases, an infection can turn deadly, especially among adults over 30. Most patients who come down with STSS are senior citizens.
The initial symptoms of STSS are sore throat, fever, diarrhea, vomiting and lethargy.
But some patients have died within dozens of hours due to multiple organ failure or breathing problems.
TRANSMISSION. Is by
1- direct contact
2- by droplets
3- from infected wounds on hands and feet
The bacterium is called flesh-eating because it causes necrosis of a band of tissue that surrounds the muscles of patients.
The bacterium often enters the bloodstream and spinal fluid where bacteria cannot normally be detected. That leads to a sudden decrease in functioning of many organs.
Normal measures to prevent infectious diseases, such as washing hands and keeping a wound clean, should be taken.”
Patients are treated with antibiotics, mainly penicillin and amoxycillin or 1st generation cephlosporins plus other combinations. but serious complications require the removal of the infected tissue.

I know of someone who had a boil on the lower area of her body. Staff in the Rest Home she was in, obviously didn't treat her, and keep the infected area clean. Where was the resident Dr/s who were responsible for treating with strong antibiotics. Bacteria entered this area, and as the woman had a low immune system it was discovered only after admission to hospital she had a flesh eating disease. She only survived for 3 days m, and very sadly passed away 3 days after her hospital admission. This rest home should be held accountable, as they obviously have Incompetent staff, who are neglectful and lack any nursing experience or common sense.

So sorry to hear your acquaintances ordeal due to not having the right diagnosis at the right time. That's why I'm trying to instil awareness In a simple way so people can catch the warning signs in due time and seek medical help before it's too late .

Well in my case and others that had been working with me as much as we reported to the doctors they did nothing to those patients, and we were nearly death due infection coming from those patients when we tried our level best to wash them. It was very painful to watch, when it got worse and ended up in hospital even us got admitted in hospital l collapsed and wake up only to find my self rounded with doctors. After l explained the situation they run tests and was told that I have l very deadly virus and bad bacteria and put in isolation room and nobody was coming apart from the cleaner who was very helpful to me

Despite many boil surgery removal my friend still got her last boil right by her abdomen area. I recommended her the tee tree oil. She applied it over the boil until it bursts. I told her never stop applying it until it get better. Thank God .. that was her last one and she never had any boil anymore sprouting anywhere in her body.
