You're a seasoned traveller, traveling on the Shinkansen. And you eat ramen. Your trip is almost like a guided tour (lol) I'm glad you enjoyed Japan.

Thank you for your visiting to our countryside and reported lots. You know there are so many unique districts all over Japan, please go to there and report much by your own view points . By the way, I(Japanese, living near Tokyo) have not been to Ashikaga and Tomonoura, hahaha.

It’s our absolute pleasure to visit the countryside in your beautiful country. We plan to stay in Ine and a few other areas when we come back. Thank you for your comment! Ps. Please take a few days to treat yourself to a visit to Ashikaga and Tomonoura, you won’t be disappointed 😄

Maybe I just don't know about it because I'm not well informed, this was my first time watching the inbound tourist video featuring Ashikaga Flower Park. The same is true for Tomonoura. Ashikaga Flower Park is famous for its wisteria and roses, as well as its winter illuminations. My wife also bought an annual pass and has been there many times to take photos and videos. My wife says that most inbound tourists are Asian and there are few tourists from Europe or the North & South America or Australia, New Zealand an so on. One reason for this may be that it is difficult to find on public transport. My wife always goes by car on the highway, but it takes nearly two hours from the western area of Tokyo's 23 Special Wards.

Thank you for your comment. When we visited Ashikaga Flower Park and Tomonoura, we were pleasantly surprised to find that these spots were mostly frequented by locals. It created a more authentic and intimate experience, where we felt more connected to the local culture and traditions. Unlike some of the more popular tourist destinations in Japan, we didn't encounter many international tourists, which allowed us to enjoy these beautiful locations in a more serene and less crowded setting. It was a refreshing contrast and made our visit feel even more special and genuine.

Yamagata, located in the Tohoku region of Japan, is rich in nature, food, and culture, including mountain worship at Mount Haguro, Yamadera Temple, and Mount Zao, boat rides down the Mogami River, delicious rice, wagyu beef, ramen, taro stew, high-quality fruit, and sake. If you have the opportunity, be sure to visit.

The vending machine from which you bought your drink is a vending machine with a winning lottery ticket. The amount displayed is a roulette, If the numbers match, you get a free drink!

We had no idea that those vending machines had a lottery system! How cool! We’ll make sure to be aware of that next time! Thank you for letting us know. Hopefully the person who used the machine after us was able to receive the free drink.
