Thanks for commenting and watching Yumi! It was fun meeting you at the top!
The kotatsu room is going to be an important place for family communication😊 Although Nagano Prefecture does not face the sea, the great nature surrounded by magnificent mountains is very attractive. It was a very wonderful hike!
It was a great trip Nate! Thanks for documenting it, as always 😜

I was surprised at the number of rocky areas near the summit of Mt. Norikura. The scenery from the bus window and your friend's car window was very beautiful with autumn leaves.🍁 Thank you for showing me the beautiful scenery. I am very happy that your KZbin channel has reached over 140,000 subscribers in the past week. Anna said that although her new school is fun, she misses seeing her friends from her old school very much....Those words remained deeply in my heart.

Thanks Kouhei san! You've been a faithful supporter of the channel for a while now. How many subscribers did we have when you started to follow the channel?

@@LIJ My second daughter has been watching your channel earlier than me. I was watching your channel with my daughter interpret into japanese.☺️ Your channel inspired me to relearn English for the first time in decades and started reading the Bible. I love your channel because it makes me feel the importance of family. I really sympathize with that feeling.☺️

I agree- Japan has a very unique look. We were in the Japanese alps, and they are very special. I hope you get a chance to visit at some point!

Glad to see Kazu san once again 😃 The footage of the Kurobe gouge was the very video that made me to subscribe to your channel.i just wish someday you go to so so adventurous mountains like this one together with your children. I,m thinking of especially Joshua kun in mind but of course I have to take it in mind that you might be called back to the States until then.
Nice views and a pleasant time with friends. I hope to do something similar, but on a lower mountain, in a couple of weeks when the Fall colors are at their peak.

What a neat hike! I haven't done a hike like that in years. I went to a few hiking areas in Japan when I was there in 2015, but nothing like that. Last time I did a major hike was when we still lived in Washington state. I used to do an annual trip to Mt. Rainier in the summer just in time for the wild flowers and would hike around Paradise taking photos. Though, one year I went on July 1st and there was still about 5 ft of snow on the ground. Still got some amazing photos though.

Wow- Mt Rainier sounds really cool - I'd love to do it sometime!

@@LIJ It's definitely a beautiful area. Highly recommend Mt Rainier in the mid/late summer and early fall for the wild flowers and fall colors. It's worth it. I liked to hike the trails around Paradise and up toward the mountain near the base looking for waterfalls. There are several large waterfalls at Paradise including Myrtle Falls and Narada Falls. If I make it back to visit family during the summer, I might try and hit the other side of the mountain, which they call Sunrise. And of course the next time I visit Japan I want to go to Fuji. I just love mountains and waterfalls. Anywhere with beautiful scenery really.

Places like that make a small country like Japan seem huge.
As a resident of Nagano, I'm glad you enjoyed Norikura! There are many wonderful places in Nagano, especially "Kamikochi" in summer. Please come with your whole family!
Konbanwa, Nate-san. 🤗 This time, I went to Mt. Norikura in the Japanese Alps. What surprised me was that there was a bus stop at such a high place. Is this a regular route bus, not a sightseeing bus? However, it was a steep mountain trail in the middle of the day. This may be dangerous for children to go. It was really good to be able to go down safely.
