I find it really funny that a few years ago Satoshi didn't want to eat spicy food and was afraid and now it's Shinichi xD

It is great to see you test out these curries. Then I know which ones to avoid! I think I will skip that Java one. I would love to see more of these curry testing videos.

Such yummy curries! 😋 I've always had the image of Japanese curries being mild. Until I had one at the local branch of Coco (sadly closed now) where I chose the spiciest level 5. I never took Japanese curry for granted since 😅

All the spicy curries look delicious! For me, the Gotoken Hakodate curry with its depth, richness, and "comfortable" spice would be the one. And, yes Satoshi, you are super hot! 😊Shinichi is too. You are a wonderfully complementary couple in so many ways. ❤❤

Habanero chili is one of the hottest in the world. If the correct amount is added, chili peppers give an incredible flavor to dishes 😋

I've had Coco curry level 3 spice and that makes me sweat immediately too. Can't wait to have it again when I return to Japan next month.

I don't mind a little spiciness. It still has to have a taste and not just heat. Looks like you chose well. I saw House, S&B, and Vermont curry at our Don Quijote. No Bon Curry. I was disappointed. They jad the Korean brand, Ottogi. I used buy that for a while because it cheaper than the Japanese brands. I can't remember if it was spicy or not.

Hiiiii! I had THE craziest dream with you boys last night! OMGEEE! I dreamt that you were doing just this-reviewing various curries, only you were in Okinawa at the base, and an overzealous soldier happen to spot you, walk towards you, pull up a chair, and set it between you both, and start taste testing with you. He not only taste tested, he took over-spoke with his mouth full, and proceeded to eat it all. Of course, being the gentleman that you both are, you allowed him to carry on, while the rest of us were mortified. What on earth? I know I was hungry when I went to bed-back on IF, but this dream? 😂 And, I remember asking brother Satoshi a question, and referred to him as ‘Oniisan,’ then remembered that I am older, so I asked are you my ‘Ototo chan,’ and he just giggled. I seriously need to NOT go to bed hungry ever again. 😊 Thank you for the review of spice kare. The Tabasco scorpion one definitely had that spicy look to it. I love how you both handled this one well. You’re so lucky that your readymade kare pouches have great ingredients and look so good. I have some regular kare pouches along with the dehydrated gohan and dehydrated onigiri pouches that you both introduced us to from Daiso, in my emergency food kit. 😊 Take care and thank you again for sharing.

Mmm in curry mood now,but not too hot.Guys, after many airport dramas finally back&surprised that Japanese food has spread full throttle in Italy,I even shared a sushi boat in Calabria,Italy. You definitely need milk for the hot 🔥 challenges, cheers 🍻

Japanese curries are not that spicy even the spicy ones. Of course Tobasco one wouldn't be spicy as one might imagine as Tabasco isn't spicy either.
