Hey I heard that there are volunteers that can put descriptions on your videos? Can I help with that? I especially like your videos about nuclear tests like Operation Cue and ICBMs/IRBMs like Atlas and Thor. In fact, I wrote an awesome story that I can send to you about Operation Cue if that helps my credibility at all. Thanks 😊

Only the Soviet entry into the war was avoided. The Soviet betrayal at the Yalta Conference will never be forgotten.

Have NOT seen the intentions of Rossiyans & Chinese during the war although D. MacArthur & W. Churchill were aware of it !! So made big mess for loooong time after that. 😆

How much money did MacArthur get from the Filipinos? From what I have read it was about $600,000. And that was to get Quezon on the boats to evacuate. Gotta love em.

USA worked hard to restore Japan to a peaceful culture, helping them direct their deft skills toward beating their swords into plows. We made our enemies into our friends; this is as important as winning the war. For decades Japan has designed and built the best, most reliable cars on the market.

Something strange, but USSR almost won Japan, when USA drop the bombs for just testing their bombs on humans.

Russia wanted an equal seat at the negotiating table, joining the war only days before Japan's surrender. After Americans and their real allies had done all of the fighting.

@@texaswunderkindActually it was agreed during the Yalta conference (February 1945) that the USSR would declare war on Japan 2 to 3 months after Germany’s surrender. By declaring war on August 8, just 3 months after the May 8 surrender, the Soviets kept their word.

Perhaps if our schools taught more history like the sacrifices all the men and women gave during World War II today's kids might not be so woke.

Hate to break it to you... I've visited the Surrender Deck on the USS Missouri myself. Toured the ship after I gave my moment of silence and reflection on the USS Arizona Memorial. I did that during the few hours I had during my port call enroute to the middle east. My grandfather was shot down over Europe during WWII. His crew conducted bombing runs to soften the defenses before D-Day. As I type this, I have a book laying right next to me about the USS Indianapolis disaster. But if you met me, you'd call me "woke". Not that I use that term, but you probably would.

The Greatest Generated fought and died to protect the rights of every American to make their own choices. Maybe conservatives who so loyally cling to the fascist takeover attempts by Trump should pay more attention.

Woke has lost its real meaning. Being woke means to be eagerly in a hurry to make the world a better place for everyone. Also what's the point of showing this in school if we are doomed to repeat history??
@larryb982
@larryb982 Жыл бұрын
That's the whole reasoning behind why it should be show in school. So that history does not repeat it's self. If history does truly repeat it's self we will never see it, future generations need to know the sacrifices that have been made so they continue to have this freedom of making such comments in the future.

Ohhh, it's gonna be worth watching the comments on THIS one for a while. This is like bait for people with bizarre nationalist emotional triggers to show up and say silly things, and pretend they have any actual skin in a game that ended 80 years ago.

Propaganda? Why? What in this was opinion based? It was: "A happened. Then B happened. Then C happened. Then D happened." What, exactly, was Propaganda in this? What was bend, or skewed, on order to change the perception of events to one that benefits one side or the other?
@benelgar-white1174
@benelgar-white1174 Жыл бұрын
@@thalastianjorus The vast majority of Propaganda is not lies but emphasis. When The NYTimes says "SADAM HAS WMDs SAYS POWELL" on the front page but then on page 12 writes a small article that there is no evidence beyond the government claims that these weapons exist, that's propaganda without any lies.
