Thank you for the video. The view is so stunning! How do you get to Senzu station?

What a great view. We visited this rail way on March 28th of this year, unfortunately the railway was operated on that day. We only got to Senzu station. Hope coming back in the future when the railway open for tourist.

Very beautiful area. Nice railway to get there. I discovered tis through an anime series. Really nice. It is now on my need-to-visit list for my next trip to Japan in the near future (I hope)

3:00 The locomotive they hooked up is for the Abt rack rail system (rack & pinion) which can be seen at 3:23 between the tracks.

Japan is GREAT!! I'm not saying it's an easy life there, but is a fine one.

Agree! It's a very different society there are pros and cons. But I love most of Japan!

@@JeremyExplores I very much appreciate many aspects like you do. Unfortunately I couldn't succeed to adapt in Niigata city. The climate, the remoteness, the lack of nature,...

@@bugrist I see.... I can Imagine Niigata has a lot of snow in the winter. Also 2 hours to Tokyo by Shinkansen. But I found it as a cool place to visit! I made a video visiting Niigata Last year lol.

@@JeremyExplores is good you showed a bit of a remote part of Japan. Yeah snow, gelid winds and very humid summers. But Niigata is renowned for the kindness and of people, so says my wife.

Great video! Hoping to go there when Japan fully opens to tourists. Was wondering, did it really take 50 minutes to reach the Observatory?
