Although it is originally a rest facility for drivers, did you know that the large number of tourists without cars trespassing and gathering here to take pictures makes it difficult to use the facility as it should be, and the area is sealed off late at night and the police are mobilized in force. If you try to photograph a modified Japanese car, you may be arrested in the worst case. At the very least, you will lose your means of getting home and will have no choice but to consult the police.

I love this kind of videos! I've seen a couple of facelifted A310 V6s, never the oc 4 cylinder like the one on the video. It's funny to see Alpines and the FWD Elan as the Alpine V6 Turbo and the GTA used the Elan M100 rear lights

A Cedric Autech Long Body ! 😃 That's blast from the past 😃😃 In the late 80s (1987-88ish) Nissan got this bright idea of getting Autech to make limo versions of the Y31 Cedric/Gloria. So they set about doing the Cedric/Gloria Royal Limousine which extended the car (wheelbase) by nearly 60cm (?). As one bright spark deserves another Autech also built the Long Body which extended the wheelbase by 15cm (not sure if they did it for both the Cedric and Gloria or just the Cedric). The Long Body had really long (wide?) rear doors which were a pain to open in standard Japanese parking slots. The Royal Limo had an enlarged B pillar and stupidly long/wide rear doors. The most offbeat official limo conversion of the period has to go to Toyota who was bonkers enough to stretch a T170 series Corona. They were super original with the name too. It was called the Corona "Super Roomy" 😂

The S660 is such a cool little car. Wish Honda would release something similar here, rear-mid or front mid engineered honestly. The Lotuses are always cool! The Elise, or moreso the Exige, are one of my favorite non-JDM cars. The NSXs are always cool of course, as are the classic Zs and Skylines. The modern NSX is just visually too blah to me? (Incoming NSX rant) I think the fact it was heavily US and multinational designed is a big factor - it's missing that Japanese design touch that the classic had despite being also originally Pinifarina. Enough Honda Japan was injected into the aesthetics etc that is kept it simple but Italian influenced. I could be wrong but that's my feeling compared to many other cars. Other higher end American sports cars have some similar looks, modern Corvettes being the main one that comes to mind (which also takes Italian influenced even before the mid-rear switch) for some reason, even tho the lines are different overall the shape is somewhat similar. Idk, I guess it just feels like it lost something going across the pond. It's cool but it's no NA for sure.

Incredible show! Would love to come to Japan one day and experience it for myself. Where else can you find Hakosukas , Alpine A310 , BMW M1 and 930s all in one parking lot? As an E24 owner that Alpina was a real treat! And from an Italiano to another. The Duetto is specifically the 66-69 rountail model. Also referred to as "Osso di seppia" The 1970+ cars with the Kamm-Tail rears , are more correctly referred to as "Coda Tronca" . Ciao Dino , buon lavoro come di solito.

Speaking of Toyota MR2 SW20’s do you still see them in the streets of Japan whether modified or not? Also, what about the early Mitsubishi Lancer Evos like the 3,4,5 and 6? Do still see them too in the streets of Japan? Nice content as always😊.
