Japan: Small Van, Great Food, Deep Powder

It was inevitable that the year we decided to go to Japan it would be one of their lowest snow years in decades. However, soft snow was still found and it was an amazing trip.
Cooper Sclar, Matt Hassel, Trevor Leahy, and myself (Max Rhulen) met up in the San Fransisco airport to start our two week trip to the northern island of Japan, Hokkaido. We rented a small, very small camper van and drove around the island chasing powder. Our trip took us to places like Niseko, Kiroro, Furano, Asahidake, and more.
