Japan uses a lot of sticky tape. That one with the pole and the thing you have to push off so the tray drops has to rocked off going front and back of the ring until it finally falls but the sticky tape makes it hard.

the hotel room is insane! I know that are small, but i can say that if you can book your trip moths before you can really find an amazing price for a room twice big. Mine 1 hotel was Tokyu Stay Shinjuku East Side in shinjuku, i really really suggest it. I have paid for a very big room for 2 people plus breakfast , for under on 100 dollar for night !
