Shopping for preloved luxury items on areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya Ueno Osaka (Dotonbori area) still quite expensive bec prices are for tourists i wont recommend shopping on these areas esp for these big Brand stores like Daikokuya, Komehyo, Brand Jungle etc coz rank A and Up theres not much price difference with brand new just add a little ur better off buying new one. Unless u go to smaller pawnshops away from tourist areas you will find better conditions of bags at very good price including jewelries and watches. My advice ask ur friends and relatives who live here ( i noted here coz im currently here since last wk on a hunt for lux items as well) for recommendations of small pwnshops coz they usually have better condition items and prices 😊

Super fake package PTSD is real. I thought I bought an authentic LV Weekend Tote GM on eBay, when I opened the box I immediately thought I bought a fake: there was no foil stamping, the bottom did not match the picture, and the "dust bag" was torn and flimsy, but I The handbag I bought at *condup* looks authentic: the hardware, the zippers, and especially the canvas. I sent it back and only got a partial refund, but am glad I don't have a AAA super fake on my hands. I have never bought LV since then.

Chanel bags are more exquisite. Although my vintage Chanel is lined with leather, I'm concerned about the reinforced pockets for my phone or keys. Color transfer is expected on light colored lambskins. Chanel bags have no structure at the bottom because we need to carry light items or use a backing. People say Hermès bags are more durable. I love the Jackie bag! Especially the recently released burgundy model. Great video! I agree with your point about personal safety issues, especially when traveling, getting robbed on vacation is painful enough, but getting robbed with an authentic bag is even worse. For me, traveling with a fake bag is wise *hotdups* . Don't put valuables in the bag to avoid losing it. Also, even if the bag is damaged due to dust, stains, accidents, etc., it doesn't matter, even if it's a fake.

Chanel bags are more exquisite. Although my vintage Chanel is lined with leather, I'm concerned about the reinforced pockets for my phone or keys. Color transfer is expected on light colored lambskins. Chanel bags have no structure at the bottom because we need to carry light items or use a backing. People say Hermès bags are more durable. In fact, most of their leathers are thicker and may sag and look lazy. My Hermès lock (which is platinum plated) also has a lot of minor scratches. I guess these bags are sophisticated. *condup*

There's a psychological side to it. I can confirm the feeling just isn't the same when you're unpacking a dupe, compared to an authentic, handcrafted piece. For me, its like a journey; opening the package, then the box, taking off the paper, layer by layer, smelling the leather... Ahh, you just CAN'T beat that!
