Your uploads are so soothing! When I was a kid in Japan, my family used to visit Todai-ji often, but last time I was there must have been 20 years ago. You were there at the best time for the cherry blossoms! Looking forward to your next upload!

I'm so jealous! Did you grow up in Japan? Todai-ji really blew me away the first time I saw it. It's incredible how big it is, and even more so when you consider when it was built! Thank you 🥹💓 yes I was super lucky!! I caught them in the last week of my trip. So beautiful 🌸

@@ggramsamy Yes, I grew up in Japan even though I am a Japanese expat living in eastern Canada. Todai-ji is one of the largest wooden buildings in the world, so I was told. Glad that you had fun there!

Osaka will be one of the places we will be visiting next year. I am intrigued by Japanese castles, I wonder which city you have visited that has the most iconic castles.

I actually haven't seen many Japanese castles. In fact, I think this was the first one I checked out properly. Since I didn't get a good look at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo. I love the Osaka Castle. The colours and gold decal are so beautiful 😍

I saw Castle remains in Tottori, but that can't really compare to this one, that's for sure 🤣
