Hi Linna, it seems we all have different information about frozen veggies . Here they say the veggies frozen industrially are often much better nutrition wise because they are frozen immediately after harvest whereas the ones sold " fresh " have often travelled and are at least 4 to 5 days old when you cook them . I don’t know who is right ! Depending on prices I buy some fresh , some frozen and even a few tinned. That might be the most balanced choice...I’m old , in very good health so I guess eating veggies is good for you and you just chose what works for you and your family . Have a good day 😊
@LinnainJapanАй бұрын
Commonly frozen veggies loose their vitamins after being frozen, but mushroom is another story. That is what I learned 😄 But I agree, anything works for us is better than nothing 👍☺️🎶
@samroberts5131Ай бұрын
Here in uk they are frozen at their peak and the way its done they keep their nutritional values. Whether the picking and freezing procedures are same everywhere I don't know, so maybe in some countries they aren't so good. 🤷♀️

@@LinnainJapan We have frozen foods in the US, too! But it’s bad luck to flip a fish on the plate.

I used to work in a “cannery “ where we processed fruit and vegetables. They were frozen even though we called it a cannery(American English is strange isn’t it?). While not as good as fresh they were individually quick frozen and maintained most of their nutrients. Love seeing you out and about! Thanks again for sharing your ordinary days- they are special to me!

I live in the southern US, and boiled peanuts are a "specialty" of this region, and even among Southerners you either love them or hate them! I have a feeling that your No. 1 son would not like ours because they tend to be very salty, but personally I love them. I don't get them very often, though. Your boys are such good eaters - you seldom say that they don't like something. Hope you are feeling much better.

We eat what we can, whether it is fresh, frozen or for a lot of people, processed. Don’t criticize or give fake news (seen some of the comments). If I remember from another video, Lina studied and worked in research in the food industry? Or something like that. Live and let live.
