I never look forward to spring because of my allergies, and I live next to a small forest, so the pollen amount is very high. I really like how you and your husband allow the boys to reach for achievements but still want them to be children too. And I bet you are like my Father, who paid for our education as long as we wanted and did our best. If we had a setback, Dad was always there to listen and give support too. Thank you for the video. I want to try sushi so much. But, I am unable to eat it in one bite. Is there a proper etiquette on how to eat it in two bites? I would never want to be rude.

I completely forgot it was setsubun this weekend😅 I think I'm going to get the hinamatsuri statues after watching your video. They should be in my study. Japanese ketchup rice (at least the chicken part) is also such a good meal kit idea. Just put bag in, add ketchup and (leftover) rice and you have an easy dinner again.

I enjoyed seeing your sauce for the chicken. My grandmother cooked pork chops with ketchup and worcestershire sauce. It's so good! I still make it today, adding the juice of one navel orange to the sauce. I love watching your cooking and grocery shopping.

My kids love SETUBUN they know it’s an important part of their culture. We are due to go home next week as the grandparents really want to meet their only granddaughter. So the school the kids go to have given them a mountain of homework which they don’t mind they said they will do it all on the plane. As it will pass the time away. My husband laughed when I showed him your comment he said he couldn’t help it if he didn’t really like Japanese food that much . But he does love a good Hamburg steak and a good 3rd burger!
