Yes, the spiker have to jump around the same time or even before the setter touch the ball. But the setter have toss the ball really fast too, thats why in haikyuu hinata - kageyama fast attack its very rare or maybe the only one, because kageyama is the setter with fast tosser and many spiker can't be at the same pace with his set
