Japan with my Mom:

Travelled to Japan with my mom! Stayed in Osaka (APA Osaka ekimae branch) for 4 nights but we were mostly doing day trip out of the city:
Day 1 - tenmangu district
Day 2 - minoh park and Katsuoji temple, Namba district
Day 3 - Kobe, nunobiki falls, herb garden
Day 4 - Nara!!
Day 5 - Osaka castle and heading to Kyoto (stay tuned for my next video!)
I bought the 3 day JR Kansai mini pass for ¥3000 (sgd$26 on klook) which is good if you are going to places covered such as Nara, Kyoto, Uji, Kobe and within Osaka city. However, the routes are longer as you can only take the JR lines and Shinkansen is not included.
Side note on APA Hotel chain is really good, especially their newly opened branches. For the price, I was initially afraid that it was gonna be a suspicious motel vibes but it turned out to be more business and family friendly! Room was small but the interior design planning really made full use and everything we needed were there. Sufficient hooks and hangers, bath tub, heated toilet seats 👍🏼

Kobe is a good city which has the sea and mountain and so close to Osaka because JR is so fast. Kansai area is so good for living and sightseeing as well.
