The red coloration of Japanese maple trees is so ethereal, the homes in this village look like they could easily be little ski chalets nestled inside the valley of a Swiss mountain range, thank you so much for sharing this! I can only imagine how charming they are on the inside with traditional kotatsu for warmth on cold days! So very grateful to all the craftsmanship that goes into maintaining these homes!

That's a fantastic video. Can you also go to the other spots like Hakuba (Nagano), or Aomori, Iwate, Hokkaido... in the next fall foliage season? I believe many people love the nature mountain and forests in Japan.

It's so nice without loud tourists hihi... I was there in winter 2019, right before the pandemic hit us, was there on December 26, I think, was hoping to see snow but missed it ! But still love my time there ! Didn't expect to see Shirakawago in fall, so thanks for showing us Shirakawago in fall ! Arigatogozaimasu !
